THE MRS. CLUTCH and THE VIZCAYA MUSEUM with EDEN LUXE BRIDAL
The Four Elements Editorial
The Mrs. Clutch teamed up with Eden Luxe Bridal earlier this year for an epic editorial shoot in Miami. Creatrix and founder of Eden Luxe Bridal, Heather Trost invited The Mrs. Clutch to join her incredible vision of the four elements editorial. A visual narrative illuminating the senses. A dance of the alchemy of the elements - Earth, Air, Fire, and Water!
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water magically came to life amongst the magnificent backdrop of The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Under the creative styling of Persephone Maglaya of The Everyday Vogue, this spectacular editorial encompassed not only the four elements, but the best of 2021 springs couture bridal collections.
The element of EARTH came to life with Eden Luxe's Gaia headpiece designed with florals symbolizing the four elements with crystal-embellished globes flowing throughout the piece representing the movement of the flowers in the wind and new life emerging forth from the earth! Persephone selected Monique Lhuillier, Lily of the Valley gown as the perfect representation of earth. Hand embroidered with delicate lilies in an earthly shade of moss. The Mrs. Clutch satin blush envelope paired seamlessly with the delicate and romantic feel of the element earth, as well as the romantic Bella Belle, butterfly heels.
Behold the element of AIR! Represented by the breath of life and the flow of energy, Persephone paired the Eden Luxe Hera headpiece, (named after the queen of heaven and Greek goddess of the sky), with a periwinkle blue Marchesa hand embroidered floral and bead encrusted gown. Subtle shades of blue with the shimmer of silver beads, we paired The Mrs. Clutch silver envelope clutch with this vision of sparkle representing the stars in the heavens.
WATER, the element symbolic of dreaming, healing, strength, and unconditional love. Water represents all that is sensual, filled with love and beauty. A second Marchesa gown in hues of blue with dimensional blush-colored florals, represented the ebb and flow of the tide while the silver elements represent the foam of crashing waves. Aphrodite headpiece specially crafted by Heather brought an extra element of the sea to this look. The Mrs. Clutch envelope in silver was paired with this magical and sensual element.
FIRE, associated with energy, inspiration, and passion, the Brigid headpiece was constructed to represent the jagged chaos of flames, while the coral color was chosen to symbolize both her power & softness. For this element, Persephone paired, Ritual Unions, Jen gown, showcasing an integrated cape and corset. Eden Luxe Isabella chandelier earrings, along with The Mrs. Clutch sultry “red the color of love” clutch paired with Bella Belle Lisa Red Kitten Heel were the finishing touches to the fire element. Darkness is the beauty of chaos, but can you see the beauty in the chaos? Chaos makes way for beauty to re-emerge.
Darkness is the beauty of chaos, but can you see the beauty in the chaos? Chaos makes way for beauty to re-emerge. Darkness was brought to life with Ritual Union, Shadow Dress. This romantic dream of tulle with body suit corset. A powerful statement dress, perfect to represent chaos, Persephone paired The Eden Luxe Monique gold crown and The Mrs. Clutch gold envelope clutch, and. finished with Bella Belle Elsa black crystal embellished heels.
"For there is always light, if only we’re brave enough to see it. If only we're brave enough to be it". These beautiful words by Amanda Gorman inspired our vision for LIGHT. Tulle, upon tulle upon tulle flowed from the magnificent Marchesa gown, paired with Eden Luxe Jordan Tiara.
A vision in white, a vision of LIGHT. Beautiful accents of silver glitter adorned this entire ensemble. The Mrs. Clutch silver envelope clutch was simply magic when paired with this vision of lightness. Bella Belle shoes finished off the look.
THE SPACE IN-BETWEEN
The final element of this enchanted editorial was the power of “the space in-between”. The place where lightness and darkness mix, the space between the light and the dark.
This very powerful space called for a power gown, enter the wow gown by Dur Doux. This dream power gown, in the perfect shade of gray left us speechless. This soft yet powerful look was perfect to pair with The Mrs. Clutch hard-shell blush clutch. This "white carpet" couture bridal clutch with metal frame hard-shell completed this couture look.
